Today we'll interview Mila Traveria a 14 years-old girl who has been living in Panama for one year and half.

Hi Mila! Thanks for sharing your time with us
-Hello Mery and Rachel. How are you?
We're fine thanks. Okey, let's start with the questions. Can you tell us your daily life.
-Well, the first thing I do is going to school at 7:00 o'clock and after school I always do sports. Sometimes I do triathlon at my school field and pool ( in my school too) Some days I do pilates in a gym with a personal trainer and a freind except on wednesday when I always go swimming.
Wow! In our school there aren't rhese facilites. Tell us how your classes are.
-Not al the classrooms at our school have the same size or equipment. Some have tables and chairs and others have sofas to have discursions or to do subjects in which have talk all together. We usually sit in groups on rectangular tables that have room for about 6 people. We don't have individual tables.
Wich subjects do you have and how do you work?
-The most important subjects are: English, Spanish, Science, Humanities, Physical
Education and “Estudios Nacionales” that is “Panameño”. My favourite subjects are English and Physical Education because it's what I do best. We work in each subject in a different way and the school provides, every student with a MacBook Air and an iPad.
Now tell us about the weather and evironment.
-In Spain you have four seasons and they in your country are based on temperature change. In Panama there are two seasons, one season is the dry season and the other is rainy eeason. During the dry season it doesn't rain for six months straight, but during the other six months of the year in the rainy season it rains every day very hard for a few hours.
And when it rains, how do you meet with your friends?
-In Panama we don't hang out as much as in Barcelona. This is because here nobody walks in the streets because there are no side walks. The culture of walking isn't considered. So if wehang out with our friends we do it at each others houses or at the mall.
Here we gather in groups by friends depending on our and personalites. How do you doas a group?
-Well, it is a bit complicated, in general when we are all together we get on really well, but when we are out of school there are three groups that are: latina's, nord-amercanas and europeas. My group is last one. I go with them because they're the nicest. However, in the other groups there is more rivality, because many many years algo Panama became independent of United States and sometimes they get angry. It's like Spain and Catalonia.
OMG! And finally, explain us some curiosities of your country or typical things.
-Panama is the only place where you can see the sun rise in the Atlantic and set on the Pacific. Here we speak a mix of spanish, english and “Panameño”. To greet someone you can say: “ Ahue, buena honda”.
Ja, ja ,ja! Thanks you for all this time.
-You are welcome, see you soon.
Bye Mila!
-Bye!
